How I Spent My Weekend.

Clockwise: Hanging out with our partners in crime- the Coxs / Trying on some magical unicorn pants (can be found here) / Attending the rehearsal dinner / Beautiful gold place settings.

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Harner!

This Friday I am headed out to Dallas for our good friend’s wedding! Living in Atlanta gives me a good idea of what the weather will be like there, so packing should be somewhat of a breeze. I’m still debating over a dress to wear to the ceremony- typical me. Decisions, decisions…

I like to think I’m pretty tough. My boyfriend may tell you otherwise, as I can barely do five push ups, spiders scare me into the fetal position, and paper cuts feel like I had my finger amputated. Ok so maybe I am only tough when it comes to the denim I wear.  Throughout my countless years of denim purchasing (or as I like to call it “investing”) I have yet to own a pair that are so comfy I could sleep in them, yet still flatter the bum, that are casual enough to wear with a t-shirt, or dressy enough to throw on with a pair of sex on a stick stilettos. Then I saw this pair. Saw them. Needed them. Had to have them. They are everything I could wish for and more in a pair of jeans. Hey, they may even inspire me to kill a spider or do a push up or two.

In a rush? Sometimes you just need that go-to outfit that you can easily throw out and run out the door. This is my spring to summer transition, on-the-go, I have no idea what to wear, outfit. Easy/comfy denim + comfy spring hued shirt + casual boots + throw back aviators + a little namaste = spring perfection. I love this necklace as a constant reminder to appreciate your day’s little moments, say hi to a stranger, and to smile to everyone you pass.

Have a wonderful Monday!

When it comes to swimsuit season, my swimwear drawer is almost entirely stocked with black swimsuits, with the exception of a solid white one here and there. There are a few reasons why I have opted to invest in only black swimwear. (1) You do not always have to buy the top and bottom. Black mix and matches very well. (2) There is nothing more classic, subtle, and sexy than a little black bikini (LBB). Insert imagine of Demi Moore walking out of the ocean in Charlie’s Angles 2. (3) I like to think it makes me look tanner (is that not reason enough). (4) It goes with any cover up, cut-off short, or panama hat you wish to wear.
