What I Wore: Neiman Marcus Event.

Last Thursday I co-hosted an event to benefit Pencils of Promise and to have a little party to celebrate The Style Pundits 1st birthday. Here is what I wore…

Vest: Sanctuary / Romper: Vince (Suggested)

Ring: Vintage (Suggested) / Shoes: Kelsi Dagger

I had so much fun with my fellow Atlantian, style blogger, and co-host, Paris Rouzati, of Sweet Lemon Magazine.

Thank you to all of my friends for your support over the first year! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2013…

All You Need is Love.

Top: Theory ; Shorts: Free People

Love Necklace: Sugar Bean Jewelry ; Shoes: Diane von Furstenberg (Suggested)

[Tip 1.]  When I am stumped by the weather (it’s too hot to wear pants yet too chilly to wear a tank top) this is my go to outfit.

[Tip 2.] Use all over pastels (white, lavendar, rose gold, beige)

[Tip 3.] Invest in a love necklace. Because afterall… all you need is love (I just couldn’t resist!)

[Tip 4.] Invest in at least one henley this season.

Some may lay claim to black on black being boring and basic. I, in fact, see it as an extremely creative outlet.

Tip 1: Picking a single color palette allows you to experiment with textures.

Tip 2: Black is one of those colors that you can buy very frugally without it looking cheap (tan- not so much.)

Tip 3: You can choose any pop of color that tickles your fancy.

Tip 4: Black = classy, so it is okay to show a little more skin

Tip 5: DO NOT mix your shades of black if one or more is faded
